Reliable Rides was started November 2019. Owner and Operator Scott Harris had a vision of creating a transportation service that is built around trust, reliability and mindset of treating people with dignity and respect. Scott’s favorite vision and quote is the heartbeat of our business “Treat everyone you serve or come in contact with like they are my own Mother, Father, Brother or best friend”.
Scott has a background in many areas including Healthcare sales and management, Hospitality service and management, Emergency Medical Service (EMS) volunteering for local Rescue Squad as EMT for 5 years. All this experience is incorporated in Reliable Rides to make your experience with us a memorable one….

To Pro Renata brewery in Crozet, he’s taken us on outings and even brought me home from the hospital once. Superior service, timely, super friendly, down to earth, biggest heart I’ve ever seen, and is disciplined to stay alert and Sober while on duty. Reliable rides is always my first choice when I want to go have fun with my friends but don’t want the risk of driving back, or if you’re hurt and can’t drive, he’s still got your back too. 10-10 hands down the best rural and local service around. Don’t waste your time and money on the others, call Scott!!

Scott was on time, professional and polite. The van was clean, comfortable, and smelled good (as in did not smell of smoke, pets or perfume, all of which are a big concern for me)..His prices are comparable to what other ride sharing companies would charge if we could depend on them to come out this far from Charlottesville or Richmond - which we can't. HIGHLY recommend Reliable Rides!
